What is a Mobile Notary?
A mobile notary, also known as a traveling notary, is a professional who travels to a client's location to perform notarizations on documents. Their responsibilities include:
- Verifying identity: Confirming the signer's identity
- Witnessing signatures: Observing the signer sign the document
- Signing and stamping: Adding their signature and stamp to the document
- Checking authenticity: Ensuring the authenticity of all documents

Texas Government Code § 406.024 sets out the standard fees a notary public may charge for notary public services. All services provided by Source for Real Estate will incur a travel charge separate from Texas notary fees.
Travel Fee

Travel fee is based off a 20 mile range of 78641 zip code. Additional miles over 20 will be priced at $2 per additional mile.
